Ever wonder where insects go when the snow starts to fall? Don’t let it bug you! Join us on snowshoes as we explore the frosty forest near Sugarbush Trail to uncover the secret lives of insects and other invertebrates in winter.
Discover how these tiny creatures adapt to freezing temperatures, what their lifecycles look like, and why biodiversity matters for all living things—even the smallest ones! Guided by our enthusiastic nature interpreters, your group will enjoy an active outdoor adventure that combines science, discovery and plenty of snowy fun.
Snowshoes are provided, so get ready to crunch through the snow!
Students must wear proper winter boots. Shoes are not permitted.
We will be outdoors, rain or shine (or snow!), so dress warmly and come prepared to spend up to 90 minutes outside.
